GREAT PLACES - WASHINGTON, a 512-page guidebook meant to be your "go-to" reference guide for outdoors recreation in The Evergreen State, is at the printers now. Chuck Johnson, President of Wilderness Adventures Press, expects the book will be hitting bookstores, select sporting goods retailers and Costco Stores in Washington by the end of June or early July.
This is author John Kruse's first book, and covers a wide variety of outdoors activities to include camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, flatwater paddling, cross-country skiing, climbing, wildlife watching, bicycling and more on Washington's major public lands to include National Parks, Forests, Wildlife Refuges and Recreation Areas as well as State Parks, Wildlife Areas and Nature Preserves. The book also includes the state's best guides, outfitters, resorts and lodges.
All in all, it's everything you need to plan the perfect outdoors adventure for a day - or for a week. To find out more, check out the "Great Places - Washington" page at www.northwesternoutdoors.com or the Wilderness Adventures Press web site at http://store.wildadvpress.com.
